    BSOD while playing DOTA 2

Hi guys, I don't wan't to bother you but its getting annoying.

I reformatted my pc last night because of BSOD.(I intended to clean install anyway)

After re-installing everything I still getting the BSOD. So I did a memtest, no problem on that area.

    Attachment 274329

BSOD happens only while playing DOTA 2.

    Lol? Again?

Hey mate, it is all stop 0xF4. Can you supply the MSINFO32.nfo file?

    1. Click on the start button
    2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
    3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
    4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
    5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

Yeah, it just started yesterday. I thought it is just "one time" BSOD but it keeps coming. :)

I would suggest you to run some disc checks on your WD Blue 500 GB.

    Also Uninstall MagicDisc.

No code has to be inserted here.

And an important point is ....
    Code:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
    Version 6.1.7600 Build 7600
You know that the SP1 is necessary. But it might not be the direct cause of your BSODs.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

The Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet driver is old, too.
    Code:
    fffff880`03a56000 fffff880`03abd000 b57nd60a (deferred)
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\b57nd60a.sys
        Image name: b57nd60a.sys
        Timestamp: Tue Feb 15 09:28:31 2011 (4D59F9E7)
        CheckSum: 00072A2A
        ImageSize: 00067000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
You need to update it from Ethernet NIC Driver Downloads | Broadcom

    Let us know the results.

After doing all steps, also disassembling and cleaning all the parts of the PC. I think the BSoD has gone and the pc is back in business.

Been up the whole night doing the steps, playing dota 2 the whole day just to make sure the pc is ok.

Thank you so much my friend Archie, you're my hero

Need to get some sleep now

    I mark this thread solved

(Sorry if I forgot to post the screen shot of CrystalDiskInfo)
