Been Getting BSOD Randomly for a Few Months...

Been getting this for a few months now, usually just a reset makes it go away for a bit. I could be listening to iTunes, playing a game on Steam, ect.

I'm pretty new to this sort of stuff so I'd appreciate some help if I haven't done all the correct things in terms of getting you guys the info you need to help me out. Apologies.

Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit. Had the computer for about two years.

EDIT: Oh, and on the blue screen itself... it would be random. Sometimes I'd get that kernel error and at other times I'd get others. Cannot remember them, but if I get BSOD in today, I'll post up the error.

Unfortunately there are no dump files in your upload, check C:\windows\minidump folder for any

Thank you for the reply.

Hmm, weird. There are no dump files where you said for me to look at. I also checked that thread out before and all of my settings were fine. But after the BSOD there was still no dump files in C:\windows\minidump.

Do I do a kernel memory dump or small memory dump?

Yeah, just changed it to that. So, when I get the BSOD again, it'll go to C:\windows\minidump? Just wanting to make sure is all.

Thanks.

If all goes to plan yes it should, also that folder wont exist until the first dump is created

Okay, but, there's already a minidump folder in the windows folder. It also has a lock on the folder. So I'm guessing there was a dump created in there before? Could it have deleted by itself? Because I haven't been anywhere near that before.

Also, if it takes a few days for me to get the BSOD again, is it okay to bump this thread? Even if it's, like, a week later? Just want to make sure! Thanks.

Feel free to post any updates/info you want

I may have been wrong about the folder not being there until dump generated, often its not but not always and also i believe there are some cleaners/tuneup style programs that may remove dumps but windows will not delete on its own

Just got another blue screen, this time I just started up Photoshop. Went to the dump folder and there's nothing in there.

I've had this BlueScreenView program installed on my computer for a while now, it just made a text file in my downloads folder. Could this possible help you out in finding what could be up with me getting the BSOD? I had forgotten it was there, so maybe this might help you?
