BSOD with Radeon HD 7850 drivers installed.

Computer was idle while I did something out of the room.
Come back to find BSOD.
BSOD says somethign about atikmpag.sys being the culprit.
I realize this has to do with video drivers.
Restart into safe mode with networking, and delete AMD display dirvers.
Reboot machine and it loads up default VGA driver. (Good enough for browsing, can't play any games)
Re-install newest AMD drivers, reboot, BSOD.
Restart to Safe mode again.
Delete drivers again, and do some online checking.
No big reports about this happening all over the world so I decide to start here.

It is a stop ox116, that is a display / graphics related issue.

Are you overclocking? As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings. Also set the BIOS to default, too.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.

At least 30% extra is safe. Also let us know about the wattage of the PSU, too.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

Also, dismantle the PC. Clean the inside carefully, so that it can blow the hot air out freely. Clean the air vents and fan grills, mainly. While re-seating, apply new thermal paste to the CPU.

Finally, install the latest driver again, but keep away from CCC.

Not Overclocking as far as I know. I never told it to do that anyway.

Furmark says it wont run while I have the default VGA driver and if I load anything else the machine BSODs.

I'm including the speccy screenshot (In the same screenshot is the output from the power supply calculator.

Computer is very open on the inside. I have cleaned it out but have not applied new thermal paste to CPU.

I will download drivers again and test.

Yep. Tried three driver sets (Newest and the two previous ones) and they all BSOD.

Well, HD died but was able to get all of my stuff off of it.

Formatted, reinstalled windows 7 home. Nothing but Windows and Firefox on the machine. Downloaded AMD drivers for the Radeon HD 7850 card and installed and sure enough, Graphics started tweaking as soon as I reboot.

I have started the RMA for my graphics card. But it really seems like an issue with the drivers.
