    WIN 7 "locks up"

    Hi

    I have a dual boot PC...Vista HP SP2 and WIN7 RC 7100

Both fully patched etc with all updates.

Until about a week ago (cant be sure of exacct time/date) ...faultless. Now after 2mins 30secs approx my WIN7 simply locks (freezes). I can tell as my Gadget clock with second hand simply stops. I have to hard boot my PC to get it back.

    Vista...no probs....

My sytem spec is in my control panel

any help would be appreciated...any thoughts on what to look for. I tried running Problem report, but it just locked up on me. Reliabilty monitor, likewise, I have to hard boot to get OUT of it....

    I cant run anything...

Shut Down button wants to install another 5 updates (net framework and Silverlight updates...) not sure IF I want these...they MAY have been the problem....ah well here goes
