    BSOD error 0x000005c

    Recently bought new hardware because my old motherboard has faulty ram sockets.

    So i changed my cpu and the motherboard with the result of a pc that does not freeze up all the time.
    So it has worked for around a week now and then this issue started.

    i have attached the logs and so on the SF diagnostic that was provided in the guide thread.

    I found on some forum that it could have been caused by the driver to my graphics card. Tried uninstalling the old and catalyst control center and install the driver and only driver for catalyst 13.1 instead of 13.4. Still ended up with the same issue.

    The issue mainly begins when the GPU has to work. I don't get any BSOD when i start windows normally. Just a black screen. I got that error message when in safe mode and the pc crashed.

    So it would be cool if you guys coud look over it and help me find a solution.

    Looks like your issue is being caused by your network driver:

    Code:

    *                                                                             *

    *                                                                             *

It didnt restart or anything like that. I retarted it with the button on my case, and checked if any dump files was created. There wasn't any.

    a couple of things to try:

    Run the system file checker

    SFC.EXE /SCANNOW
    Go to Start and type in "cmd.exe" (without the quotes)
    At the top of the search box, right click on the cmd.exe and select "Run as adminstrator"
    In the black window that opens, type "SFC.EXE /SCANNOW" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
    If the program finishes with anything other than "no integrity violations" run the command two more times
    If after the third run there are still issues run the command at boot: SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot
    next from another elevated command prompt run the following command and then reboot:

    Code:
    chkdsk /f /r

    i have one problem with using those commands.
    My windows installation is on an SSD and from what i have researched the fs scan will only check around 75% of my disk.

    ok, so i have run the fs scan now, 3timer.

    Within windows i could run it, no errors found. I am, however, not able to run it from my windows install disk. As it cannot find my windows installation?

    Did the checkdisk aswell. No errors found.

    Scanning for single bit errors...

    None found -> Pool Tag
    We can clearly see that a device driver has corrupted the pool, however, I can't match the pool tag to to the corresponding driver. A device driver may have overrun this allocation, therefore changing the expected size.

    The none pool tag is used to call the ExAllocatePool function.

    Code:
    None - <unknown>    - call to ExAllocatePool
    Run Driver Verifier to scan for any corrupted drivers which may be causing problems, this program works by running various stress tests on drivers, in order to produce a BSOD which will locate the driver; run for least 24 hours:
