UPDATE blue screen crash-repair/recovery disk won't work
I will try to make a long story short
Bought my Acer Aspire X3900 approx' 3 months ago, it had windows 7 home premium 64bit. All was fine until I tried running/installing things that worked fine on my old computer that ran XP. After researching the Microsoft site, I bought, download and ugraded to window 7 professional, I downloaded/installed the XP mode. virutal pc stuff and still couldn't run my scanner or ACCU CHECK glucose software. As it turned out, I was going away for 2 weeks so figured I'd worry about the computer when I got home again.
Got home and the pc just kept restarting itself and then crashed. I cannot start it in safe mode, it will not open OS at all. I had made a repair disk as suggested and saved image file to my external hard drive BUT nothing works...Please can anyone help me with this?
The blue screen says:

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need. If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select safe mode.
