0x0000003b bug code, and 0x000000c4 on driver verifier

I get 0x000000003b bsod everytime i run games, usually after 10 mins consistently, like world of tanks, railworks etc. I use blue screen viewer to look at the dump files.

I enabled driver verifier, and the system BSOD when i disable crossfire from catalyst and get the 0x000000c4 bug code.

Both dump files does not say which driver caused the issue.

Please look at one of the dumpfiles for the in game BSOD error

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Shafmk1.

From the single crash dump you have uploaded, it appears that the BSOD is caused by ATI display driver.

    Many thanks for your reply.

Iam sorry if i didnt follow the correct procedure for posting BSOD issues, i have read the instructions etc, can you point out anything i did wrong with that regard?

Currently i have the latest driver, AMD 13.6 beta 2 which i downloaded from a website (not AMD one). This was because, some reason from the AMD site, if you download the latest driver it does not install, the file is like 163mb instead of the 179mb it says on the description, so you get NSIS error while installing it.

So do you recommend using a none beta driver like 13.4?

    Many thanks

We ask all to post in BSOD threads following Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions. A stray crash dump only is not enough information to debug.

But you are not required to go and do it right now. Take the suggestion of my earlier post first. Then if it is a BSOD again, then only post following Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

It states clearly which driver you should install.

If the said driver fails to install, upload a screenshot of the failure message here following Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums .

Ok i uninstalled catalyst using the amd uninstall utility and installed the Amd driver detect, which downloaded the 13.4 driver.

Sadly it froze and restarted again after 10-15 mins (usual pattern) after playing a game, this time with no bsod, visible but dump file was found, this time with a different bug code "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

I followed the instructions and used the SF diagonstic tool. This is the best i can come up with

Set the overclocks back to normal, even if those are factory overclocks.
    Code:
    CPUID: "Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz"
    MaxSpeed: 3400
    CurrentSpeed: 3467
As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings. Also set the BIOS to default, too.
