BF3 still downloading, loaded up Metro Last Light, screen went black and pc restarted.

    Got minidmp attached.

Just remembered though it's not an optimal driver for the game, should i just try with the latest 320.49s again? they should work now?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Well that was quick!

Ok, it seems to be your Nividia drivers again.

    Dated:Fri Mar 15 01:37:00 2013 ?!?!?

Can you confirm if your driver has been updated automatically?
Or is that the stable one you installed earlier?

I would suggest installing the stable driver I suggested, and forget about SLI for now
so we can determine if it is driver or Hardware.

You may try if you wish taking out one of the cards, running the game, see if you crash,
if you do not crash, swap the same card into the other PCIe slot you were using for the 2nd card you removed,
If no crash occurs, repeat with 2nd card. This will eliminate PCIe slots as a cause.

If you do not wish to dabble inside the case, we can try disabling each GPU in turn, then trying the game
and see if it crashes running just one card, then the other. This wont test the PCIe slots as such,
but will tell us if the problem lies with one of your cards or not / and perhaps a PCIe issue.

    To disable GPU navigate to:
    Start>Computer>system properties>device manager
    Locate>Display Adapters and expand
    Select your Graphics card
Right click and "disable" and it will ask you to confirm and reboot the system.

Make sure to switch off the mains and ground yourself before commencing any works:

    http://www.wikihow.com/Ground-Yourself-to-Avoid-Destroying-a-Computer-with-Electrostatic-Discharge

Also ha20x22k.sys is still present , can you confirm?:

Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\drivers and see if it is in the drivers folder.

    Cheers

I know the cards are perfectly fine though as in system the day before they ran fine with the same psu.I was using 314.22s apparently though the crashes happen often in that game so may try another to see, thing is if i install the ones you say i can no way enable SLI which means i would have to change driver eventually.

Yeah the file ha20x22k.sys is there, no idea how to rid it now, also ha20x2k.sys too.

Shall i just try Metro Last Light again with 320.49s? like i said i am extremely sure cards fine is they were in previous system just over a day ago.

I am not sure though if that driver is linked to my Auzentech install, surely not i guess, do not want the sound vanishing lol.

Updated the network driver and chipset.

I think the nvidia driver crash was related to Metro Last Light which was buggy with that driver apparently so will try more games later.

The xbox driver was already updated from link you provided so i just reinstalled.

Renamed the creative driver but now i have no sound lol so i am unsure what driver i need for my Auzentech Forte7.1?

Asus Suite 3 is taking an enternity to remove for some reason, no idea why.(my components are left as they were after a fresh bios update all i did was enable XMP on the memory which sets it to recommended site settings)

Memtest i only ran for 1 pass then heat became unbareable to sleep in so i am just going to leave it on today whilst i go to work.....be about 9-10h test though lol.

Asus Suite III just doesn't seem to want to uninstall. should i try each programme seperate then the whole programme?

Off to work now will leave Memtest running, hopefully 9-10 hours isn't too long and doesn't cause issues lol.

Thanks for all help so far.

    Hi,

Ok, just rename the driver back from ha20x22k.sys.old to ha20x22k.sys
Reboot and your sound should return. :)

You may need to update that program if possible, as its driver is causing issues.
I will try to locate a driver for you :)

To fix Metro Last Light, you can run a "Verify game files" from the Steam library.
Right click the game title/click properties/ click local files tab/ click Verify local game files.

For the Asus Suite and all other bloatware follow this tutorial:

    cheers

I heard there's pax drivers for the card not sure if they are good but I need one that works fine lol.

Yeah I know about the verify files but the game has known crashes with the driver so I am just going to try latest once everything else done and if they do I will try the 306.23 ones.

Hmmm from reading the bloated windows link seems like a reinstall is best but dont really wish to do.Was it related to any of my bsods? Will check memtest once home.
