    Weird & Continuous reboot on BSOD...

    Hi All,

    1. After installing AVG updates on my Samsung laptop (N150 Plus), a reboot presented me the dreadful BSOD.

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    Error value :0x00000050

    NOTE: There is no mention of 'file' or 'driver' in the BSOD.

    2. All 'F8' options have been tried.
    a. Attempt to REPAIR - results in BSOD.
    b. Last Known Good Config - results in BSOD.
    c. SAFE Modes - result in BSOD.

    3. Trying to reinstall also results in the same BSOD. The same USB when used on a different system presents me with Windows 7 reinstallation options. But, on this laptop, it fails, though the USB is detected as the 'To Be Booted From' device.

    4. Thought of scanning the HDD on my HP laptop. Connecting the HDD to my HP laptop's USB interface. OUTCOME:
    a. HP laptop presented me a BSOD.
    b. BlueScreenView says that driver 'ntkrnlpa.exe' is the cause.

    ================================
    HOW DO I CHECK WHERE THE PROBLEM IS?
    HOW CAN I RETRIEVE THE DUMP FILES?
    HOW CAN I RUN A 'chkdsk'?
    IS THERE ANY WAY FORWARD?
    ================================

    Your expertise is really appreciated!

    Best Regards,
    Jimmy

    Have I missed out anything?

    As per the instructions, I need to run the Diagnostics Tool. But, it cannot be run on a system that does not boot up. It keeps giving me the BSOD continuously.

    Please help.
