I had to reinstall after I had used a registry cleaner. It what prompted me to start this thread.

Your registry has nothing to do with your problem.

You said..."When I reboot in normal mode, I can't run windows normal, yet it works in safe mode "

That pretty much means yoiu have a faulty driver.

And for the record - leave registry cleaners off of your computer. Especially if you are "in computer programming."

In that case I would first try a system repair. But as I said, registry cleaners are counterproductive - at least in Vista and Win7.

Hi guys, i'd like to know your opinion on registry and disk cleaning, right now, i'm using CCleaner, Wise registry cleaner and Wise disk cleaner, they're pretty good, but i guess not the best.. what do you use? what is a good option to maintain my system? cheers
