BSOD Restoring from sleep, Address:ntoskrnl.exe +e58c2
I just built this computer a couple months ago and have been having random bluescreens.
Sometimes, it's when I'm just browsing the internet, the usb bus will stop responding for a couple seconds, then the computer will freeze. After about 10 minutes it will return a blue screen.
The other, more repeatable case is when I restore from sleep about 20% of the time it will bluescreen. This seems to be after it has had a chance to sit for a couple hours. If I try to brute force a bunch of sleep/restores it doesn't do it.
I have ran mem test, chk disk, uninstall patch kb2670838 per this post, turned on driver verifier per this post. When I turned that on, it seemed to freeze more often, but did not bluescreen no matter how long I waited.
I've updated my bios, my video card drivers, my usb drivers, all to no avail.
I've searched the forums diligently here and haven't been able to find much conclusive about this error beyond it could be a hardware error, and some people resolve it by reformatting.
I have reformatted (albeit I installed the same drivers) and the problem persists.
I have attached 3 of my dumps. you'll notice that 2 of them have other errors, hidusb.sys and mrxsmb.sys. I am assuming these are coincidental, as the ntoskrnl.exe is common among all of them. I would very much appreciate it if someone would take a moment to examine these and shed some light onto my issue.
While I've mentioned my troubleshooting steps above, I am more than willing to repeat any of these steps in an effort to debug this issue.
Thank you!
Dave
