BSOD even after clean Win7 re-install

    Hello,

Computer had been randomly restarting, sometimes several times a day, for a couple of weeks. So I completely re-installed Windows (and ran updates) hoping it would be just a software problem, but the problem persists. Three unexpected shutdowns since re-install, two of them today.

    SF Diagnostics results attached.

Also ran Memtest86 and errors were detected. Screenshot attached in case it can be helpful.

    Thanks,
    Justin

Rerun a memory test with memtest86+

Pay attention to Part 3 if you get any ERRORS

    VistaKing,

Reran Memtest last night. Results show one good stick (Screenshot 1 attached) and one stick giving errors (Screenshot 2 attached).

Both sticks were tested individually in each slot, giving the same results both times for each stick.

So is a new RAM stick enough to solve the BSOD errors, or do the SF Diagnostics show other possible causes?

    Thanks so much.

I see you didn't use the version I posted . If you have a dual channel memory sticks you would need to replace the entire kit not just one of the memory sticks . If its still under warranty open an RMA with the memory manufacture to replace the kit for you . Other wise you would have to purchase a new memory kit .
