BSOD turned into "Black screen of death" -cannot boot into BIOS.

    Hi Essenbe, thanks again for all the trouble. Did what you said. First restart did not go back into windows, but started check disc - I saw it deleted some index files and later recovered a lot of orphaned files. In the end no bad sectors ect. Restarted and this time was able to get into windows. I did sfc /scannow twice before it could not find any more violations. I have restarted the laptop 4 times since then and everything seems fine. Asus start up screen is back too.
