BSOD on new computer while using network card, 0xF4 ntoskrnl.exe
Hi there,
I recently built my first computer and have been having problems with it ever since. The problem typically occurs when the computer boots up and attempts to connect to my home wifi, where it will hang, freeze up completely, eventually BSOD, or just BSOD straight away. The problem does not occur when using a cellphone to provide internet. Because of this, I foolishly thought it was an issue with my router, which was 5+ years old - replacing this did not fix it For what little I tested it for (for some reason the computer was using a ridiculous amount of bandwidth), it seems to work fine using a T-stick to get mobile broadband.
I have tested the network card in my boyfriend's build, where it works fine. I have tested his (identical) network card in my build, where if I recall correctly it had problems. Forgive me for being forgetful, as I did a lot of these tests a couple of weeks ago and was having such a diverse range of crashes that I can't remember what caused what. I've run the build without the graphics card, but that had no luck. The HDD and SSD have both been tested using Hard Disk Sentinel and came up perfect. I'm currently running Driver Verifier, but it's just showing a black screen, I'm not sure if this is normal or not.
Using WhoCrashed says that it's probably ntoskrnl.exe and suggests that it's not a hardware problem, but a typical driver issue.
I would be so grateful if someone could please look over the logs, as I can't seem to solve this myself.
Thanks in advance :)
