Well by looking at the report it says dxgmms1.sys which is related to the GPU.
Could be related to all of the past posts of this thread but could also mean drivers/heat/other hardware faults.
Upload the dump + a new msinfo32 file they might hold more.

Since this bsod earlier today I upgraded my gpu driver to the latest (non beta) which is 320.49. I was using an older version that had been stable for me but switched it up to try different configurations. This most recent bsod error appears to have a different cause than any of the previous ones. I'm gonna grasp at straws and call that good news

Attached is the new log files (but again, driver verifier was not enabled). I am going to try playing that game again with the new driver and see if it crashes again. If it does I will turn on verifier and cause another bsod and then post those results.

James mate but I am not sure of how to read a lot of those files stuff you sent and Yoyo is in my mind better placed top deal with that stuff but I would suggest just trying that pin 8 on the new PSU even if only to rule it out and shut me up

Just me clutching at straws now did you try that Automatically find drivers button in this http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Just another and I guess fairly dumb query is have yo tried the machine with card removed and with just the on board graphics running. I know to will not be able to run the games you want but if you do not get any more Blue screens then it maybe a bad card or if you do get blue screens then it points at the card being ok and something else the problem?

That is only a suggestion
I did find these older threads mate which relate to Yoyo's ref to that dgxmms1.sys I don't know if any of them will help
BSOD dxgmms1.sys (more at the bottom of the page)

Sorry James mate, the bugcheck files are new but the errors are not.
If you are set on keeping your current motherboard, which I do not recommend, i would look for
a replacement for the 4 years-old PSU first.

I can't remeber seeing if you tested out the PSU but if not have a look but I think YoYo is right and maybe the mobo is just a bit long in the tooth as well.

ICit2lol, I did go to the nvidia site and am now running the latest driver for my graphics card. I also did try a while ago removing the graphics card and running with the older one but there were still bsod errors and freezes.

It's really starting to sound like the motherboard so I'll probably need to start looking at those as well as a newer cpu to go with it.

YoYo155, why do you not recommend using the system with the current motherboard? Do you think I am at risk of harming other components by using it with a possibly/probably damaged or malfunctioning mobo?

Yes James I meant without any plug in cards at all mate and just try the on board graphics to see if the board itself would run graphics perhaps not heavy gaming stuff but if it did not crash running it like that then suspicion points to the cards. But perhaps I am being too simplistic and I will leave it to YoYo on this one.
Sorry I couldn't be of any help

I do not recommend spending anymore money on this platform, I'm less concerned about
damaging other components (the odds of that happening are very slim yet there's a chance).

No worries John
Unfortunately M4A77TD PRO doesn't have on-board graphics .

Well that's not great news but knowing what's wrong is better than not knowing.

YoYo, What do you mean don't spend more on this platform? I was hoping I could get replacements for the motherboard and cpu and put that in my existing case with ssd/psu/optical drives/etc components.

I am thinking about an i7 but haven't pinned down a motherboard yet mostly because I don't know how much I should spend (is a $350 mobo that much better than a $150 one?)
