BSOD browsing internet, and random times.

    Hello guys,
I've tried a lot of things, and I keep getting BSOD. Long story short, I've formatted my computer, I've checked my RAM, I've uninstalled daemon tools... 2 days ago I ran memtest for over 20 hours without 1 single error, let it pass until pass#8. And stll getting BSOD. I was thinking it could be my video card, but I don't know how to check it or how to read dump files.
    Thank you in advance

My apologies, I didn't post the correct file. Here it is. The rar file with the SF tool.

    Hello mahler.

It appears that teh Creative audio card drivers including Creative Hardware Abstract Layer Driver are causing issues there.
    Code:
    BugCheck 1E, {0, 0, 0, 0}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for hap16v2k.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for hap16v2k.sys
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for ha10kx2k.sys

    Probably caused by : hap16v2k.sys ( hap16v2k+11f09 )
And it appears that the driver is old.
    Code:
    fffff880`0774e000 fffff880`07790000 hap16v2k T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: hap16v2k.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\hap16v2k.sys
        Image name: hap16v2k.sys

Update your Creative drivers from Creative Worldwide Support

The display driver is probleming there, too.
    Code:
    fffff880`02f1b3c0 fffff880`0814cd4eUnable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
     nvlddmkm+0xf6d4e
And it is the latest version that is installed.
    Code:
    fffff880`08056000 fffff880`08b3b000 nvlddmkm T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: nvlddmkm.sys

This latest version is problematic in cases. I would suggest you to use driver 314.22 WHQL insted.

    • Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
      • 3D Vision Control Driver
      • 3D Vision Driver
      • Graphics Driver
      • HD Audio Driver
      • PhysX
      • nvidia Update

(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
    • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
    • Boot normally now. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

Let us know the results. If the problem persists, next time post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Thank you so much! I really really appreciate your support and input.
And yes, I skipped the instructions but I fixed it so the file now contains the files generated by the SF tool. I will do your instructions promptly and get back to the forum as soon as I check results. Thanks again!

    Thank you for the instructions!

I tried to download driver "314.22 WHQL" but when I typed the specifications, it gave me 320.49 WHQL, so then I performed a manual search for 314.22 and found it, downloaded this one:

    NVIDIA DRIVERS 314.22WHQL

I installed only the graphics driver without evertyhing else.

So far, I did everything you asked me to do and no BSOD so far. I will try the computer all day today to see if it crashes again. I will let you know if it happens again today.

    Thank you again!!

hey, I'm back, so this is what happened.

After everything was running smoothly, I left the computer on all night, in fact, haven't turned it off since yesterday. So I re installed Daemon tools lite again, to install some ISO files I had, and I had another BSOD. I attached the .rar file, but the dump is the last one I suppose? the one that says 081313-26296-01,

I was wondering if there's a way to know for sure it if was in fact DT lite, or something else... in case if it's DT lite, is there any onther software to use ISO files that doesn't have these issues?

    Your BIOS is too old.
    Code:
BiosVersion = ASUS M2N-SLI DELUXE ACPI BIOS Revision 0404
    BiosReleaseDate = 08/21/2006
I suggest you to update it to Beta Version 1804dated 2010.09.21; from M2N-SLI Deluxe - Motherboards - ASUS

Display is still crashing. Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.

Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

Some storage related errors are there, too.
    Code:
    fffff880`0a0bffc0 fffff880`014f82f8 Ntfs!NtfsLookupAllocation+0x95
    fffff880`0a0c0130 fffff880`014f8f9f Ntfs!NtfsWriteLog+0x578

    fffff880`0a0c09a0 fffff880`012096df fltmgr!FltpLegacyProcessingAfterPreCallbacksCompleted+0x24f
And the storage controller is also very old.
    Code:
    fffff880`00cc0000 fffff880`00ceb000 nvstor (deferred)
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\nvstor.sys
        Image name: nvstor.sys

        CheckSum: 000291A5
        ImageSize: 0002B000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
It also needs to be updated. As far as I can say, it is hard to get updates to Nforce. You may search in nvidia, you may search in ASUS too. I really have very least idea about its obtaining.
But there is way to bypass this controller, if you want.

    Let us know the results.
