BSOD while tabbing out of Civ 5

    Hello,

I was playing some Civ 5 with a friend this afternoon, and after tabbing out my PC got a BSOD
After rebooting i opened up my eventvwr and it came up with:

De computer is opnieuw opgestart na een bugcontrole. De bugcontrole is 0x00000050 (0xfffff82003ae4790, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff88008e04fd2, 0x0000000000000005). Er is een dump opgeslagen in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Rapport-id: 081813-4945-01. and error ID 1001

i attached the file made with the SF diagnostic tool.

    Computer specs:
    Intel core i7 4770 84W 3,4GHz
    MSI 1150 B85M-G43 mainboard
    Samsung 840 series 120GB
    Nvidia Asus GTX770-DC2OC
    2TB HDD Seagate 7200RPM
    8GB Kingston HyperX RED DDR1600 2x4GB
Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.

Maybe it's just a spaz of my PC ( its about 4-5 weeks old now) but better know then not knowing.
Last thing i installed were windows updates on 14-08-2013 and i did not add or remove any hardware.

i hope you can help me.
    Thanks in Advance!

Uninstall your current antivirus as it is contributing to your BSOD's. Replace with Microsoft Security Essentials & the Free version of Malwarebytes, update and make full scans separately:
    • Do not start the trial version of MalwareBytes
You may also take a look at:
Use the System File Checker tool and Run Disk Check:
    Make scans with -
Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although we have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions). Please uninstall Daemon Tools.
As an alternative, many people recommend the use of Total Mounter or Magic ISO

    Reduce items at start up:
Your Antivirus software is basically whats just needed there.

Hello Raigara, Welcome to Seven Forums

Had a look at your dump at it reports an ox50 bugcheck code BSOD Index PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

And the error is pointing at a faulting driver named aswMonFlt.sys which relates to your Avast anti virus

Its up to you how you want to proceed, it may have been a sporadic error if its only happened once so may be easiest to ignore and see if it occurs again
If it does i would suggest removing avast and installing Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows as it will have better stability and compatibility with Win 7

    Hope this helps :)

    Paul
