BSOD upon hibernate and sleep. Dell 14z n411z, win 7 X64 home premium

    Hi,

A little background before I describe my problem. I had a dell inspiron 14z for 1.5 years. My hard drive crashed and I had to install a new HDD (WD 500 GB, 7200 RPM).

I installed ubuntu linux desktop(13.04) in one partition.

Once I installed Ubuntu, I installed win 7 on another partition using re installation disks that I got from Dell.

My windows 7 keeps crashing upon hibernate and sleep. I updated most of the drivers. I have flashed BIOS. I went through couple of previous posts on sevenforums and updated all the drivers.

I am currently getting error on pci.sys. I installed windbg and it tells me that pci.sys is causing a issue.

I am uploading the diagnostics from sf_diagnostic_tool.

Appreciate any help on this issue.

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\McAfee Public:Start Menu\Programs\McAfee Public
Mcafee is a frequent cause of BSOD's. Remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials & the Free version of Malwarebytes, update and make full scans separately:
    • Do not start the trial version of MalwareBytes

You may also take a look at:Make scans with -Use the System File Checker tool and Run Disk Check:Reduce items at start up:Your Antivirus software is basically whats just needed there.

Upload a screenshot using: For how to upload a screenshot or file, read here

Test your Hard Drive by running:Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+:
       Tip

    • Pay close attention to part 3 of the tutorial "If you have errors"
    • Test the RAM with Memtest86+ for at least 7-10 passes. It may take up to 22 passes to find problems. Make sure to run it once after the system has been on for a few hours and is warm, and then also run it again when the system has been off for a few hours and is cold.

    Still crashing

    Hi KoolKat77,

I have removed mcaffee, installed microsoft essentials. I have run the virus checks, memtest and I am attaching crystal disk. I still have crash issue. The latest crash dump has this info.

Appreciate any other suggestions. Only other thing I was going to try out is I have 8gb ram. I have installed 4gb recently after my hd crashed. I can remove it and try to see if it works.

    Thanks
    Hari
