BSOD Stop: 0x0000001E on ntoskrnl.exe

Working on a Friends Computer who have been getting this error message with every boot into the OS, (although it boots into the Desktop, Win 7 Home, then BSOD)

Safe Mode works Fine, there seems to be no spyware/virus issues, and hardware checks outs

System is a DELL Inspiron 620s

Attached is the Dump file

Thanks in Advance for the Assist

Hi,

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
BugCheck 1E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffffa80084e1610, 0, 7fffffa8000}
Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt! ?? ::FNODOBFM::`string'+4987d )
Followup: MachineOwner
STOP 0x0000001E: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Usual causes: Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS

I would suggest removing Mcafee as it may be causing issues:
How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR)

As an alternative, please download and install:

Microsoft Security Essentials.
Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability
compared to other antiviruses/internet security software.

Note   Note
Once downloaded, update and run a full system scan

Then check to see if your issue still exists?

What hardware have you tested?

cheers

Dave
