I tried that, exactly like you said. But when I type E:\ it says that it is not recognized as a command.

Download Kaspesky Rescue Disk

Burn the ISO onto an empty CD
Boot off the cd
How to record Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 to a CD/DVD and boot my computer from the disk?
Open file manager then click on Windows then click on System32 then double click Drivers locate the file and delete it
I'm having trouble with this as well. I put the disc in after burning it. When I went to the boot menu, I found the CD/DVD drive and moved it to the top of the list. Then I restarted the computer, but nothing at all happened. Any idea what I did wrong?
What did you use to burn the .iso ?
Did you press F12 on the Lenovo screen and select Optical Drive ?
I used 2 programs and 2 discs. The first time I used Deepburner, the second time I used IMGBurn. And yes I tried booting it using F12 as well. Is it possible I messed up when trying to burn the discs?
You could try using a USB flash drive
How to record Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 to an USB device and boot my computer from it?
The results are the same. I selected the USB drive as the one I wanted to boot from, but it still takes me to the menu that says Windows failed to start. Startup repair doesn't work and start normally just leads to the BSOD.
Yes I did. I downloaded the iso file and the usb file. I followed the instructions on the page, and it said it worked. But when I tried actually using it on the laptop, it didn't do anything at all.
Can you remove the hard drive and plug it into your Desktop ? Using the SATA cables off your DVD drive ? Remove the battery from the laptop first before removing the hard drive .
