    Husbands computer crashed can't play wow


    Hi my husbands cyberforce gaming desktop crashed yesterday and I am going backwards trying to help. what I know is error code 0x00000024 i can't get a c prompt, its on a crazy loop from turning it on it gpes to windows logo and loops back to opening screen . no windows disk for this computer [he lost them] my dell laptop with win 7 will not work with his machine and on the occasions i have gotten to a command prompt i can't find his hard drive.

    hhrullman, welcome to SF. Without more information it sounds like a dead C drive. Have you opened up the desktop to see it's condition inside the case? If it's not been cleaned then clean with compressed air and make and unmake all the connections then make again listening for a positive click and or sure connections then try turning on again. if any of this is beyond you or you need more advice just ask. Always start with the most obvious physical conditions and connections then move to the next.

    Then I assume you can get into the rig's bios? Look for the original C / OS target drive in the boot order....is it there?
