Just one more question prior to carrying out that task:

Z87-PRO - Motherboards - ASUS holds the Windows 7 64-bit drivers for my MOBO. However, I'm a little confused as to the matter of drivers. Just to check what I need, as listed from the site:

1. Intel Chipset Driver V9.4.0.1017 for Windows 7 32/64bit & Windows 8 32/64bit.(WHQL)
2. Intel(R) Management Engine Interface V9.0.0.1287 for Windows 7/8 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL) (hotfix2)
3. Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.1.6853 for Windows 7 32/64bit & Windows 8 32/64bit.(WHQL)
4. Intel(R) Graphics Accelerator Driver V9.18.10.3111 for Windows 7/8 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
5. Intel(R) Gigabit Ethernet Driver V18.1.59.0 for Windows 7/8 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
6. Intel USB3.0 Controller Driver V2.5.0.19 for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
7. Wi-Fi Driver V10.0.0.216 for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
Wi-Fi Driver V10.0.0.221 for Windows 8 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
8. ASUS Bluetooth4.0 Wi-Fi Driver V10.0.0.216 for Windows Win7 32bit & Win7 64bit---(WHQL).
ASUS Bluetooth4.0 Wi-Fi Driver V10.0.0.251 for Windows Win8 32bit & Win8 64bit---(WHQL).
9. Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology Driver Software V12.7.0.1036 for Windows 7/8 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
Intel(R) AHCI/RAID Driver for Windows 7/8 32bit & 64bit.
10. Asmedia SATA Controller Driver V1.3.4.1 for Windows 7/8 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
11. Bluetooth Driver V7.4.0.170 for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
Bluetooth Driver V8.0.0.218 for Windows 8 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)

I ask because there are quite a few which seem to overlap. I've left out Thunderbolt driver, as I do not have anything of the sort afaik.

I highlighted the drivers you need from Asus's website (Audio is blue because I added it later ).
Don't install any of the utilities, download the Wireless driver that I linked to in post #2
and install the nvidia driver as mentioned in post #8.

Good luck and update!

All drivers have been reinstalled and the video card will go in next. No problem with the Intel drivers on this run yet. Should I also run Samsung Magician to optimize the SSD?

Edit: Actually, I got some messages for unsuccessful driver installation on the Bluetooth...

Edit Edit: For absolute clarity, one of the Devices without a Driver that shows up as unknown is the USB Camera, the other is listed as Unknown device and is located "on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System."

Edit Edit Edit: Intel Driver Update works and now offers two new drivers - I assume I should do so?

Got some new crashes after reinstalling the video card and the drivers for it. Attaching now.

Edit: I see that it has switched to Kernel Memory Dumps instead of Small Memory Dumps. Tell me if I should switch this for ease - I'm not sure if SF_Diagnostic picks up the Kernel dumps.

Edit Edit: Finally, one last tidbit - it apparently does not have the front jack USB working anymore. They had been working during installation (since I used them to transfer over the driver files), but now seem to be nonfunctional. I am unsure if this is related to the crashes. Perhaps it is related to an incorrect driver?

Edit Edit Edit: Final one before I go to sleep. I've also completed all Windows updates marked as Important and gotten the driver for the webcam. There is still "Unknown Device" marked under Other Devices and Optional Windows Updates. Please let me know if you believe one of these updates could be relevant.

Edit x4: Just had another error. The following information was provided:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 18
BCP1: 0000000000000000
BCP2: FFFFFA800F3B7240
BCP3: 0000000000000002
BCP4: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Edit x5: Reconfigured to do minidumps just in case and have some recorded BSOD.

Your last three dumps are all different. One points to the GPU, another to the wireless adapter
and the third is not analyzable using a minidump.

Kernel dumps are the default in Windows 7.
It doesn't matter to the SFDT because when you get a crash when Widows is configured to write
a kernel dump it also writes a minidump.

Are those the same USB ports that were bugging out previously?

Yes install all Windows updates.
Upload a Screenshot of the Device Manager.

So, I can't upload a screenshot at the moment, unfortunately, but will do so ASAP.

There are still some optional updates available to download - I assume by all you mean just install every optional update not including the localization ones. There is one that is labeled "Kernal Driver Update" or something of the like. I am uncertain if it would help.

If I recall correctly regarding when those crashes happened: the oldest set of new crashes occurred when running Youtube, the one related to the WLAN probably was the one that crashed shortly after a sudden wireless failure.

The USB device that isn't working is the same as the previous crash, afaik - the front jacks. This is a little different as in the previous case they remained functioning. I'll open up the case when I get home and look for any loose connections that might have occurred while installing the GPU again.

Right not including the localization updates they are irrelevant at this point.

OK we are starting to see a pattern.

GPU driver, which we already knew about, is misbehaving and should be uninstalled both physically and drivers.
You say you were watching youtube, meaning you used flash player which taxes the GPU so the wireless
could be just fine and is being corrupted by the GPU driver as it didn't crash using Driver Verifier
when the GPU was uninstalled it's safe to assume it is valid.

How old is the case?
The USB ports are among the first things to start bugging out after prolong use.

All components are just over a week old. So I don't think it is a matter of prolonged use. I don't know if there is a relevant driver controller that could be an issue, though I imagine you'll be able to see that once I send the screenshot. For reference, the system has 4+2 USB ports on the MOBO I/O panel and 2 USB ports at the front.

I'll uninstall the Nvidia drivers and remove the GPU again. Could it be a problem with the GPU memory requiring an RMA? I've tried to look online for this issue and I don't see anything quite this bad.

Edit: Also, once the GPU is removed and uninstalled, should I run DriverVerifier again after updating to make sure that it was the GPU again?

I doubt there is any physical issues with the GPU but again there always a chance.
I would wait and see if nvidia fixes their drivers before I'll RMA the card, but that is up to you
to decide.

Run the PC for a couple of days without the GPU and see how it goes.
If anymore issues arise you can post back here.

So: quick update. It's positive... but we'll see how long that lasts.

1. Uninstalled the NVIDIA release driver and installed their beta driver. This time, I disabled the PhysX engine (I can live without using it for a while).
2. In addition, I ran through Windows Update until I ran out of updates. I feel like I MAY have previously missed this one labelled with NVIDIA that might have been of some importance.

At the moment, I've been running videos, testing some games, and it's been stable. Hopefully this sticks - though I know it has done this EXACT same thing before, where it ended up crashing the next morning. If it remains stable for 48 Hours (or crashes again), I'll end up updating.
