BSOD League Of Legends, Memory management error 0X1a

    Heya,

As the title states: I get BSOD when i'm doing anything with LoL, I have reinstalled a clean OS, and downloaded/installed the game. After that I finished installing the drivers and now LoL cant seem to play a game, it will run but I will BSOD as soon as the game starts.

I have uninstalled many drivers that I installed at start except three: 2 GPU drivers, and one intel chipset one. The rest I have uninstalled through device manager, and unfortunately I still BSOD in-game.

I have done checkdisk twice, came out clean, did a memory test with the windows application also came out clean.

The BSOD unfortunately starts only when downloading anything from the game or playing a game.
I would be really grateful if someone could help me out with this, its becoming really bothersome and I am planning on reinstalling the OS again if it continues like this.

    Hello asif343.

Your issue is the display drivers here ... both of them are failing.

    Intel HD Graphics driver ...
    Code:
    fffff880`07f47c68 fffff880`04ba9737Unable to load image igdkmd64.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for igdkmd64.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for igdkmd64.sys
     igdkmd64+0xef737
    Nvidia display driver .....
    Code:
    fffff880`07f47a68 fffff880`0595fae5Unable to load image nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
     nvlddmkm+0xb4ae5
At this point, I would suggest you to first try a clean reinstall. Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 .

Suggesting it, coz the pre-installed laptops with dual graphics uses some complicated settings for display usage, which itself may cause those errors.

While installing the display driver, perform a clean install only.

Let us know the results when done.

    Hey, Thanks for your reply.

I have done exactly as you said, a new OS installed cleanly, then installed the most recent intel HD 3000 driver, and the second most recent nvidia driver (clean installation)

Unfortunately the error has not receded and its still active this time I got a different crash twice, in both cases a kernel dump so those are quite big files.

On Sat 8/31/2013 8:09:54 PM GMT your computer crashed
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: Unknown (0x00000000)
    Bugcheck code: 0x4E (0x99, 0x4F6, 0x2, 0x2318B5)
    Error: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

I also downgraded the bios after updating it to the highest version, the reason I did that was because the newest version didnt really solve my problem, so I thought maybe i need to downgrade it and test it with another version.
Apparently this did not fix the crash and its still happening.

As you stated, its the videocards, I thought it was the 'optimus' driver, I searched for drivers for that, but apparently those drivers are included with the complete package.

I'm going to do another clean install of video driver, this time the old ones from acer's website.

EDIT: I have tested the videocard drivers on acer's support page, it also didnt work, this time I managed to get the dumpfiles; the zip file is attached.

Update your NETGEAR WNDA3200 Wireless 11N Dual-band USB Adapter Driver. It is too old, and failing.
Search for possible updates in Global Download Center.
    Code:
    fffff880`05022000 fffff880`051ff000 athurx T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: athurx.sys
        Image path: athurx.sys
        Image name: athurx.sys
        Timestamp: Mon Oct 11 14:40:57 2010 (4CB2D4A1)
        CheckSum: 001D77E1
        ImageSize: 001DD000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
The intel Graphics Driver is still failing there. Better you would try to use the windows 7's default settings. Ues either GPU. If the display transition will be present there, there will be app possibilities of failure.

It may be supposed that the Optimus technology will help you in battery saving etc stuff, but in turn it will make the system crash prone at its own virtue.

In this case I would have used the nvidia GPU only, at least as a test.

About the wireless dongle, there is sadly no form of update for that, I had researched that and couldnt find anything, but I did find an atheros update for it? Might work with it (someone in virgin's official website said that)

How do I use windows 7's default settings? Either GPU? In the bios I have selected that option.
Also how do I configure this computer to use only the nvidia GPU?

    Many thanks!

Edit: After installing the latest drivers for the dongle, and also configuring through the nvidia control panel that the dedicated videocard should be used, the BSOD still occured, except this time a different error.

Yes, I also think that no update to your dongle is available. There are updates for WNDA3100 v1 and v2, but not for WNDA3200. In that situation, the only feasible solution is to replace the network adapter.

This latest BSOD is point out to a Memory Corruption prima facie.

But still there is evidence of Intel Display driver failure.

You disable Intel display. Use the Nvidia display only, and always. Also dont use the optimus technology. Windows 7 does not need multiple GPU configuration, display transition etc to run. You should observe how the computer is behaving when there is no added complication.

If still there is issue, RMA the computer.

For the memory corruption indication, be in safe side. Test your RAM modules for possible errors.

Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

unfortunately I dont have warranty on this laptop.

I have uninstalled the drivers of the intel one and installed it from acer's main website, this time the intel drivers took a different name than before intel HD graphics family.
This still didnt manage to stop the crash, but the BSOD has a different name now, anyway the next thing I did was downgrade the bios to v1.03, the reason for that is: to upgrade the vbios and just to go ahead and check if it would work.

    The BSOD is attached.

Now I have reinstalled the nvidia graphic card drivers in order to see if its optimus is going to reconfigure to the intel drivers, hopefully making it work. I'm now going to test this and hope for it to work.

i'm planning on doing that later on today, but i'm sure that the memory isnt the case, because these BSOD's only occurred after I reinstalled windows.

Heya, ive done memtest an apparently nothing came out of it.
It said the memory was clean. I cant do an RMA since this product doesnt have warranty anymore.
