Rats, it BSOD'ed again. Has been great all day until I started an 8gig download.

On Mon 2/09/2013 5:49:11 AM GMT your computer crashed
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\090213-21855-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x75B50)
    Bugcheck code: 0x1E (0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0)
    Error: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

On Mon 2/09/2013 5:49:11 AM GMT your computer crashed
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: rtl8192su.sys (RTL8192su+0x19CC9)
    Bugcheck code: 0x1E (0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0)
    Error: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\rtl8192su.sys
product: Realtek RTL8192S Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter
    company: Realtek Semiconductor Corporation
description: Realtek RTL8192S USB NDIS Driver
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: rtl8192su.sys (Realtek RTL8192S USB NDIS Driver, Realtek Semiconductor Corporation ).
Google query: Realtek Semiconductor Corporation KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

So, that's pointing to that Asus USB wireless network gadget again isn't it?

Now I am no expert like Arc is with this stuff mate and I cannot find that driver the only drivers I can find are here P8H61-MX USB3 - Motherboards - ASUS
under LAN but as I said I am no expert because I cannot see those numbers listed in there.

Just what are you hooking up to?? a modem yes but wirelessly? if you are can you try a cable?? Sadly I am beginning to think that Uniblue stuff has "played" with the OS.

Just in case have you got your data backed up??

OK, the wireless dongle(?) is gone and time to get a long cable!

@ICit2lol What little is on this computer is backed up, the computer is "out of bounds" atm till I can get it stable.

Hopefully I can report back in a day or two with "Solved". Thanks again IC and Arc for sticking with me through this.

I'm starting to think this is maybe motherboard related because now we're on a wired connection, it's found yet another way to fail. Uptime before crash is 2.45 hours.

Sorry, I'm back again. Left the computer idle over a span of 1 hour and it would appear to have frozen. Had to force it to shutdown because it was non-responsive, nothing worked.

I had previously changed power settings to "monitor sleep after 15 minutes, HDD's to never sleep" Also went to advanced power settings and followed this list:-
Put the computer to sleep: set to NEVER
    Click: Change advanced plan settings
Select "high performance" from the drop down menu
Scroll down the list: Click on the + signs to expand the choices for each item on the list.
Require a password on wake up: set to NO
Hard disk: turn off the hard disk: set to NEVER
    Wireless adapter settings:
    Sleep: set to NEVER
Allow Hybrid sleep: set to NEVER
    Hibernate after: set to NEVER
Allow wake timers: set to disable
    USB settings:
USB selective suspend setting: set to NEVER
    Power Buttons and lid:
Power button action: Setting: set to shut down
Sleep Button Action: set to: do nothing
    PCI Express:
Link State Power Management, Setting: OFF
    Processor Power Management:
    System Cooling Policy: setting: Active
    Display
Turn off display after: setting: NEVER
    Multimedia Settings:
When Sharing Media: Setting: Prevent idling to sleep
When Playing Video: Setting: Optimize Video

Techy can I make a suggestion mate? How do you feel about getting a small SSD and use it for the OS - boot etc Install the OS back onto it and then get what you can back from that large drive (I am not a great lover of large drives lose it you lose a lot) if you can and then wipe the large drive and use it for your User stuff?
    See this tutorial.

User Folders - Change Default Location

Only a suggestion mate because you are lurching from one crash to another. It could possibly be the board but I doubt it. Have you done any recent updates to the BIOS?
Have you tried a system restore back to before that Uniblue stuff was put on - you could try that in safe mode.

I don't know what Arc will think of these suggestions maybe you will want to wait to see what he says.

Thanks for that link, I was thinking of grabbing some RAM so if I go the SSD that will rule out two potential problems. It did pass memtest though.

I did some searching re Prime95 stopping working and many said that pointed to hardware problems, so now I'm really confused.

I might add, it ran fine all afternoon but then again, these issues really are random so I'm sure it's just giving me some breathing room until it strikes again lol.

Mate I really think it is in the original install hence my suggestion re the SSD my advice for what it is worth a 120GB SSD Samsung are very good and PCCG in Melbourne do a nice range and mostly at good prices Solid State Drives (SSD)
the thing to look for is whether they have what are known as a SandForce controller.

See this Solid-state drive - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia it mentions what the controller does and mentions SandForce too but they had a lot of problems with that brand controller so I stuck to Samsung

Other brands use SandForce and other brand controllers so just do the research first - ask in here if you want it is a well commented on subject.

I don't think you will be disappointed with the performance of these devices they are so quick and not really that expensive.

If you want advice on RAM then in here is good and if you like G Skill this is the place to go Welcome to the G.SKILL TECH FORUM ask Tradesman he is brilliant.

Good attempt. Let us see what happens now. I am having an optimistic thought.
