BSOD for the past several months, Error 0x0000001E

Since about 7 months back I've been experiencing a BSOD on my Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5529 laptop. It would happen upon logging into my account and would only stop if I booted up in safe mode. Other people use the computer too so I can't be quite sure what may have caused it but since this week it has actually booted up twice, including now, without being in safe mode and hasn't blue screened. The BOSD always returns though so I'm sure this time will be no different. I was wondering if anyone could help me resolve this issue as I would love to be able to use this laptop again. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Please follow fully - Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

    Use the "Grab All" option.

Update your System Specifications with Speccy, and then copy this information into your System Specifications: Go to your UserCP, and then select Edit System Spec in the left pane. Copy the information from Speccy into the required fields. These System Specifications will then follow your every post.

Sorry I'm a little new to this. I read the Posting Instructions thread but I'm not sure what I might be missing, if you are aware please tell me. And I did use the "Grab All" option, it produced everything in the attachment.

Also, I did as you said but a few of the fields had different names, please inform me if I've done it correctly.

It looks fine to me, apart you don't any anti-virus protection?

Install and perform full scans with:

       Information
Remember to install the free version of Malwarebytes not the free trail; untick the free trial box during installation. MSE is the most lightweight and compatible with the Windows 7 operating system

You can also view this thread for a complete free and lightweight security protection combination:

Download and save Info.bat to the desktop.

Open a elevated command prompt and then type the following command:

    Code:
    cd C:\Users\<Username>\Desktop
    then type:

    Code:
    Info.bat
The batch file will begin to run, the SystemInfo.txt file will be saved to your C:\ partition, and the MSINFO32 file will simply open, therefore click File and then Save. Chose the save location as your Desktop, and then copy the two files into a zipped folder.

Upload the zipped folder in your next post with - Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums

I already have installed and performed scans with Malwarebytes. The BSOD actually stopped after that but returned the next morning. I am assuming it is going to do the same tomorrow. I will be sure to download the other programs you included in your post though, many thanks.

I've noticed that the BSODs occur after my computer updates because it was working fine before I turned it off and it updated.

Here's the information you asked for, I hope everything is in order. I wasn't sure what you wanted a screenshot of though, sorry.

Thanks for the additional information, and sorry for the slow the response.

    Remove:

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\ParetoLogic
    Start Menu\Programs\ParetoLogic\RegCure Pro
    Start Menu\Programs\WinZip Registry Optimizer
    Start Menu\Programs\PC Performer
Windows 7 doesn't require any programs which make changes to the operating system and registry, these programs tend to cause problems by modifying and deleting files.

Windows is a closed source system. Developers of registry cleaners do not have the core code of Windows 7 and are not working on definitive information, but rather they are going on past knowledge and experience. Automatic cleaners will usually have to do some guesswork.

Modifying registry keys incorrectly can cause Windows instability, or make Windows unbootable. No registry cleaner is completely safe and the potential is ever present to cause more problems than they claim to fix.

Registry cleaners cannot distinguish between good and bad. If you run a registry cleaner, it will delete all those keys which are obsolete and sitting idle; but in reality, those keys may well be needed by some programs or windows at a later time.

Windows 7 is much more efficient at managing the registry than previous Windows versions. If you run any other registry cleaner and do not know precisely what you are doing, you will have problems down the road. There are no gains to be had from using a registry cleaner and the risk is great.
    Remove:

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\Driver Pro
    Start Menu\Programs\DriverBoost
    Start Menu\Programs\DriverUpdate
These driver installation programs usually install incorrect and outdated drivers, please remove these programs accordingly. The only and best method for installing drivers, is to visit the motherboard/model support page or the hardware vendor, and then install the drivers from their support sites, either through Device Manager or their own installation wizards.

    Remove:

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\Norton Internet Security
Norton and Internet Security Suites in general, tend to cause problems and conflict with the network ports and drivers, please remove the program completely with the Norton Removal Tool.

As a result of the registry programs, I would suggest running the System File Checker tool:

Scan for any missing, modified or corrupted protected Windows files with:

It's fine, I saw on your profile that you're in college so I understand you're busy. I'm just happy you took the time to help me out with my problem. I followed all of your instructions and my laptop seems to work fine now. No blue screen when I'm not in safe mode and I had some internet troubles earlier but they seemed to have resolved themselves after a restart. I'm so thankful for your help and I really appreciate you being so detailed in your responses. I will be sure to add to your reputation and thanks once again :)
