BSOD during streams/youtube and games, error 0x124

Ok, reseated the fan, tried twice, following the manual's instructions to the letter. Fitted easily, and looks fine, but temperatures are the same. A max of 99 degrees C on the standard stress level of the Burntest, with a Tj. Max of 105 C. Additionally, if it matters, it took 620 seconds to pass on standard 10 runs. If it is seated properly, could it be that the stock heat sink isn't sufficient anymore and I need to replace it? Or is that unlikely?

Thanks for the help by the way, it's really appreciated, running around in the dark isn't fun :P.

EDIT: The compound I used was some Coolermaster HTK-002, which was all they had in stock at my local store. I understand this isn't as good as the arctic silver stuff, but it couldn't possibly be that big of a difference could it?

Hi again, doing some more research I've found that apparently Gigabyte Easy Tune causes instability problems, so I've uninstalled this, as well as reinstalling all my drivers, making sure they're all up to date.

Will keep you posted whether or not the problem persists.

EDIT: Neither of these have solved the problem, unfortunately, ordered an aftermarket CPU cooler, I'll see if this helps at all.
