SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD after PC rebuild

None of your Minidump folders contain any information for some reason, what is the free space of your C:\ partition, or wherever you have Windows installed?

It's also difficult to get a context on the dump files, since pages have been paged out onto disk.

The best I can gather is a exception code, which indicates that a instruction has either been used at the wrong privilege level, or been used incorrectly.

The stack is empty, since the debugger is unable to read the instruction pointer (eip register) and the stack pointer (esp register).

I know, it's most likely going to be a Kernel Memory dump, but just to double check.

Please also try a Repair Install, this will preserve all your user data and programs, apart from:

Sounds
Services
Visual Effects Settings
Device Drivers - Be sure to have these handy to reinstall. They do not always remain after the repair (upgrade) install.
You may lose the ability to sign on to MSN Messenger, to solve this problem have a look at this thread Unable to sign in to WLM.
You may lose your custom themes due to not having permissions set on the old themes. Go to the hidden themes folder at C:/Users/(User-Name)/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Themes, then Take Ownership of the themes folder and you will now have all your themes back.
It has been reported that you may also lose your Media Center gadget after doing the repair install.
Windows Updates will need to be checked and reinstalled again.

I'm still getting errors!

I turned on my PC today and it hung at the POST screen. After I restarted my computer it successfully booted to the desktop. After about 5 minutes a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD appeared. I booted into Safe Mode and ran the SF_Diagnostic_Tool. It retrieved the first few files as normal but when it came to grabbing the file where the pop-up windows shows a status bar (MSINFO, I think), the main application window wouldn't move or fade into the background. All of the subsequent notification windows spawned behind the main pane and so the only way I could confirm the grabs was to close them from the taskbar. The dump files were all accounted for though. I ran the tool again and it ran as normal. I've included the dump files from the first retrieval. There were minidump files in the both dump retrievals; two in fact.

I then enabled Driver Verifier and booted into normal Windows mode. I left my computer for about 40 minutes. When I came back, the message below was on-screen:

Is this due to an error or because I haven't activated Windows?

Please help!

Also, do you have a "gut" feeling what is causing my computer's problems? If it's a component that I can return, I'm quite happy to ask for the seller to exchange it. My PC has been through numerous tests and OS installs and is still experiencing problems.

A mini update!

Since my last post I have performed a full clean install of Windows 7 64-bit and have reinstalled all of the motherboard manufacturer's drivers including the Atheros internet controller. I did this with only one stick of RAM installed in the first memory slot on the motherboard to see if that's the cause. So far, I'm still getting BSODs but I'll have to post the the crash dumps tomorrow as I'm using my phone to type this and I've got work early in the morning.

I'll try the other stick tomorrow and let you know how I'm getting on unless you think I should try something else :)

P.S. I removed a stick of RAM just after I deleted the last Windows 7 partition. When I booted up my computer to install the fresh copy of Windows, I was told that the BIOS was corrupted and that a backup copy had to installed in its place. My PC wasn't plugged into the mains at the time. Does this always happen in these circumstances or have I done something wrong? Could I have damaged my computer?

I think I've found the problem! It was one of the sticks of RAM! After I swapped the sticks over, all of the crashes, BSODs and errors disappeared!

I enabled Driver Verifier with the Standard Settings, Force Pending I/O Requests and IRP Logging options checked then left it at the desktop. I ran SFC five times without it finding any integrity violations. I then left it for about 26 hours, only returning every so often to check its status and to wake it out of sleep mode. I did restart it a few times to tease out some errors, but none came. There weren't any after the 26 hour stint either!

Amazon have agreed to replace the sticks of RAM and the new kit should be with me early next week.

I do have a question though. Can I just take out the previous kit's memory stick and install the new kit's sticks without having to reinstall Windows or to change anything? When I removed the first stick, leaving the admittedly corrupted stick on its own, I got an error message on booting up saying that the BIOS was corrupted. A backup was installed automatically from the DualBIOS feature, and it seems fine, but I don't want to damage my PC again.

Could you please help?
