BSOD while using windows update (and at random occasions)

    Hi everybody

I was helping a friend by formatting her PC because of BSOD. After formatting and reinstalling they reappear though, giving me an indication of HW problem. Due to lack of time I only ran memtest86+ for one cycle without any error.

    The PC is:
    ASUS X53B (K53BY)
    CPU: AMD E-350 1.6 GHz 64bit

    Apparently two graphic cards:
Radeon 6310 (probably onboard for power usage purposes)
    Radeon 6470M

Not sure about the manufacturer of the RAM.

Attached are the zipfile with memory dump and so on. P.S I'm curious, which program do you use to read the memory dump?

Best regards and thanks in advance!

Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download

    • Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.
    • ** Your Storage controller is set to AHCI mode. Probably Seatools will not find any disc there, as DOS does not see AHCI. Boot into the BIOS. Change the Storage controller to IDE/SATA mode and run the Seatools test.

When the test is done, Boot into BIOS again and Set the storage controller to AHCI mode back. Otherwise Windows will refuse to boot.

Scan the system for possible virus infection with the following programs.
