    Hello Gunnarwish and welcome to the Forums,

    Please follow the BSoD Posting Instructions and upload the .zip file created so that we can analyze the dump files.

    ----------

    Seeing that you are experiencing a BSoD with stop code 0x116 (More info Bug check 0x116) of which the usual cause is a failing GPU driver and that you are using a Nvidia Geforce GTX 590, I am able to give you some advice.
    Have you tried down/upgrading your GPU driver to the 314.22 WHQL version? If not, please do the following;
    Arc said:
    Lately we have experienced some issues with the latest driver. Install the 314.22 WHQL only.

    • Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
      • 3D Vision Control Driver
      • 3D Vision Driver
      • Graphics Driver
      • HD Audio Driver
      • PhysX
      • nvidia Update

      (Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
    • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
    • Boot normally now. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

    Good luck and keep us posted,

    Hello Gunnarwish,

    Ok, and thanks for the update.

    But do note that I haven't looked at your dump files (files created when you get a BSoD), and my suggestion is based on my previous experiences.
    If you want to be entirely sure of the cause of your problem, then please follow the BSoD Posting Instructions as explained here so that I can pinpoint the exact cause and offer a more precise answer.

    Good luck and keep us posted,

    Hello Gunnarwish,

    Hmm, have you tried just opening the SF Diagnostic Tool, clicking on "Grab All", wait a few minutes and then right click on the folder created on your desktop (It will be named SF_07-10-2013), select Send To and then Compressed (zipped) folder?

    After that you can upload the zipped folder by following this tutorial.

    The reason why you can't open .dmp files is most likely because you don't have a debugger installed.
    A debugger is the software we use to look into dump files and analyze them; it's interface is comparable to command prompt - we fill a command in and the debugger gives us the output and the details/stacks/analysis requested.

    You can't upload .dmp files because the Seven Forums doesn't support them, that's why we always recommend people to zip everything they upload.
    To see what file extensions are supported; click on the upload file icon and scroll a bit down to see the Attachment Key list.

    ----------

    If you can't run the SF Diagnostic Tool, then please follow these two commands to provide us with your MSINFO and the dumpfiles;

    1. Navigate to C:\WINDOWS\Minidump (Replace C: with the letter of the drive where you installed Windows on).
    2. Select all the files there by clicking on the first file, holding down the SHIFT key, and clicking on the last file.
    3. Copy all files by hitting Ctrl+C.
    4. Create a folder on your desktop called "Dumpfiles" and paste all .dmp files in that folder.
    5. Right click on the folder and click on Send to. Then click on Compressed (zipped) folder.
      This will create a .zip called Dumpfiles.zip on your desktop.
    6. Please upload the .zip file by following this tutorial.
      • If your Windows is not set to create dump files upon a BSOD, please follow this tutorial to configure it.
      • If no dump files are found in that folder, please report back.

    ----------

    Please upload your MSINFO32;

    1. Open an Evevated Command Prompt.
    2. Copy the following;
      msinfo32 /nfo %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\MSINFO32.NFO
    3. In Command Prompt; Click on the CMD icon in the upper left corner.
    4. Click on Edit, then click on Paste. Hit ENTER.
      A file called MSINFO32.nfo will be created on your desktop, this may take a while, please be patient.
    5. Right click the file, and select Send to, click on Compressed (zipped) folder.
      A .zip called MSINFO32.zip will be created on your desktop.
    6. Upload the .zip by following this tutorial.

    ----------

    Also, you might want to try the following GPU stress test in the mean time;
    Stress test the graphics card using Furmark GPU Stress Test.
       Information
    During the test please check the screen for artifacts.
    The purpose of this test is to make your machine crash and create dump files so that we can pinpoint the cause of your problem.
       Tip
    Please run Furmark once when your machine has just started, and once again when your machine has been active for several hours.

    Good luck and keep us posted,

    Hello Gunnarwish,

    Those are the correct files yes.

    ----------

    Please reduce the items that run at start up. You basically only need your anti virus to run at start up, all other programs are not necessary and can be removed from the start up list.
    Check this tutorial to see how to add or remove start up items.

    ----------

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\avast! Free Antivirus Public:Start Menu\Programs\avast! Free Antivirus Public
    Please Uninstall Avast! as it is known to cause BSoD related problems;

    1. Open the Start Menu by clicking on the .
    2. Click on Control Panel and under Programs click on Uninstall a program.
    3. Wait for the list to update, and when done, please Right-click on Avast! and select Uninstall/Change.
    4. Follow the on screen instructions, and when prompted, please restart your computer.
    5. When you are done, please download the Avast! Uninstall Utility and follow the on screen instructions.
    6. Restart your computer.

    ----------

    Please download Microsoft Security Essentials from here;

    1. Download the file and save it to your desktop.
    2. Double click the file and follow the on-screen instructions.
    3. Restart your machine after installing MSE and please run a full scan and report back anything found.

    ----------

    The following software is a known cause of BSoD and might be contributing to your problems, please uninstall it;
    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\Razer\Razer Synapse 2.0    Public:Start Menu\Programs\Razer\Razer Synapse 2.0    Public
    • Download and install Revo Uninstaller.
    • Right click the program that needs to be removed, and click on Uninstall.
    • Select "Advanced" as uninstall mode.
    • Let Revo remove the program, and afterwards please follow the displayed steps to remove all entries of the program as well.
    • When all programs have been uninstalled, please restart your machine.

    ----------

    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *

    ----------

    As expected this BSoD was caused by your GPU. Since downgrading to the 314.22 WHQL didn't work, I'd suggest you to upgrade it to the 320.49 or 327.23 WHQL to see how it works, and while using one of those please preform the following GPU stress test;

    Don't forget to remove the leftovers from the old drivers by using Driver Sweeper.
    More info on Nvidia Forceware drivers can be found here.

    ----------

    Please download Speccy.

    1. Download and install Speccy.
    2. Open Speccy. Click on the Summary tab.
    3. Click on File and then on Save Snapshot.
    4. Set the save location as your desktop and upload the file by following this tutorial.
      Please upload a snapshot of your machine in the following situations;
      • Idle, after startup.
      • After being used for a few hours.
      • After straining the GPU by, for example, playing some High Res games.
