    Sorry for the lengthy reply.

    I just received my RMA in the mail about 10 minutes ago; installed it, and all is well. Turns out it was a dead video card.

    Thanks to all who stopped by to offer suggestions! This has been my second (possibly third..) time using these forums, and was once again a pleasant process/experience!
