    BSOD Randomly, ntoskrnl.exe

    Hello there;

    I`ve just assembled a custom PC with kinda high end specs and apparently something is wrong with my computer because I`m having completely random blue screens. First one happened after i installed deamon tools lite, while trying to shutdown my computer. Then i tought it happened because of daemon tools so i uninstalled the program then it was fine for a while. Yesterday while i was watching a video on youtube it happened again but this was a "memory management" bsod. First one was something like irql_not_less_or_equal.

    And what i have done so far;
    1. Run memtest for 1 hours
    2. Changed ram stick slots

    Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards

    Batikan

    Quick update

    I`ve checked asus ram compatability for my motherboard (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H87PLUS/#support) and apperently the RAMs (cmz16gx3m4a1600c9) that I`m using right now are not compatible with my motherboard. Could it be the reason for bsods ?

    Just had another BSOD while shutting down my computer, damn this is getting really annoying.

    And these bsods are after enabling the driver verifier.

    Hi Batikan and welcome to Seven Forums.

    Since this is a new build go back and double check all or you power connections and that any PCIe cards are fully inserted in the slots. On new builds sometimes an extra motherboard stand-off is put in the wrong place and shorts the board out. Make sure you have a screw in all the mounting holes and take the board out to see if you have any extra stand offs.

    Check the CPU cooler is not too tight, that can bend the motherboard and cause the CPU not to fully seat in the socket. If you have overclocked, reset the BIOS to default by pressing F5 then F10, save changes and reset. After it boots reenter BIOS and set the RAM to the XMP profile.

    The Vengeance RAM should be compatible in the H87 Plus board, there are so many all can't be tested.

    To better help us to help you would you please add your systems specs? Here's the correct way to do it. :SystemInfo See Your System Specs Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add whether it is a desktop or laptop and whether self built. Very important

    Log in to Seven Forums and you will be able to transfer the info directly to the specs page in your profile from within the System Info app.

    Your System Specs here.

    After doing this your specs will be available in each of your posts.
    Click on My system Specs in the lower left of this post to see how it should look.:)
    Full instructions are in the tutorial.

    Some hardware tests to run.

    Hard drive(s)test(s):

    RAM (memory) test:
    This will require memtest on a bootable CD or USB stick. Run at least 7 full passes.

    Hello Britton30,

    Thanks for your quick reply :) . Okay, I tested my hardware as you asked me and apparently there's nothing wrong with my HDD, RAM or Graphics card. You can find HDD test results in the attachment. I let memtest run for 13 hours and complete 7 tests and it passed all. I didn't know how much you were asking for furmark so i run it for 10 minutes and there were no change at all, i mean not even in heat or something the fps and the heat was stable so i decided to end it hope it's enough ? But i couldn't find any results for memtest or furmark. But yesterday while i was playing League of legends, at the end of the game my computer has crashed and had a bsod caused by my F: drive(Which is my external HDD) Except for this one I haven't received any bsod since i updated my Intel HD graphics driver.So I'm uploading all data that i could find, hope these data will lead us to something :)

    Your tests look fine. As for Furmark you are looking for screen tearing or artifacts, bit in the image that don't belong in it.
    Have you checked for a BIOS update? Many of the Intel 87 series boards have had one since release.
    I'll ask for help with your dmp files.

    Hi Lorry.

    Download and install Intel® Iris™ and HD graphics Driver for Windows 7 which works with your 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4600.

    Also, Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

    Finally, I would not go with the idea to use a 64 bit OS on a machine containing 2 GB of RAM only ..... that is a bad idea. You need to use 32 bit OS, or to have more RAM.

    But, the primary issue is graphics. So let us know the results.

    Lorry could you put what power supply you are using in your System Specs.
    The minimum your video card requires is 500W.
    Also make sure that both the 6 pin connectors to the video care are securely connected.

    Unfortunately I cannot see any video card there in the data that Lorry supplied. His graphics adapter is Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 what I can say, with 2 GB RAM.

    There is some discrepancy between the actual and the disclosed specs.
