Repeated stack based buffer overflow BSOD under Win7 x64

    Hi all,

I've been suffering from a huge number of BSODs over the last 3 weeks of so and am now running out of ideas to work with. I built my new system up around 3 months ago and everything was just hunky dory for a couple of months. However, around 3 weeks back I made the massive mistake of using the Gigabyte update widget to update my drivers and since then it's been BSOD hell.

After unsuccessfully trying the obligatory system restore, I re-installed my OS. This was ok for a short while, but once I'd reloaded all the drivers (from the original CD, rather than Gigabyte) it started acting up again. What I guess I need to do is try to identify the root cause, so I can look for older/different drivers on that particular bit of kit. As far as I can tell the error is a stack based buffer overflow. However, the BSOD is often only on screen for a few seconds so I can't be 100% sure. Nothing obvious appears in the system or application logs, so no clues there

As for the timing, it can be anything between half an hour and a day, often when the PC is sat there doing "nothing". Annoyingly, these repeated crashes have led to at least one of my RAID arrays perpetually error checking or rebuilding. So far I think the OS has been re-installed 3 times without success.

Your assistance is definitely appreciated. Please let me know what info I've forgotten to add. Thanks in advance.
