Hey guys, I have no idea what could be causing this.

I have an EVGA X58 SLI, 10GB of RAM, Mixed modules (3x Patriot Vipers, 2x Gskill) an i7 920, and a 560Ti

Welcome to the forum.

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint. Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress. I have been getting random BSOD's while I am away from my computer, never while it is in use. They have been occurring about twice a month but I have had two in the past 24 hrs. A friend suggested I was using old IDE drivers and I should switch to AHCI but I am not sure if that is the problem...
