    BSOD mfehidk.sys Windows 7 PAGE_FAULT error 0x00000050

Dell Inspiron N4110 Performed Factory Recovery. Windows 7 would boot up to Login Screen for a few seconds, and then BSOD / Crash dump / Memory dump.

Had to take a photo of BSOD screen (attached) as it happened so fast. That's when I discovered mfehidk.sys as the culprit.

Booted in Safe Mode and renamed the mfehidk.sys to mfehidk.sy_ and rebooted in Win 7 Mode. Used Control Panel Programs to Uninstall the Trial McAfee Security Suite that came pre-installed with the Dell Laptop. Going to install MSE until customer chooses an AV.

Rebooted a few times to ensure that it worked and started to update BIOS and necessary Drivers with their respective updates.

    So far so good.

    Good job.

mfehidk.sys is McAfee and McAfee is the most frequent BSOD causer.
