Windows 7: BSOD (registry error) after check disk, after memory failure

OK all the drives checked out.

I unplugged all the drives except for my 2 RAID drives, set the bois to IDE instead of RAID. It seems to run in regular (not safe mode) Windows now.

But I still have the original problem with the red X on my network connection and the services not able to start. Also, the internet really doesn't work now, I have no connection.

I think I have stumbled on something. I was reading some other help articles about error 1068 (this is what happens when I try to start the firewall service). It mentions going into the registry and changing permissions for an "MpsSvc" name. I noticed that I don't have this name listed. Maybe I need to add it?

Problem solved... used tweaking.com's all-in-one repair utility. No more red X, internet works, firewall is working.

Thanks for all your help!

Since my last post, my computer was randomly shutting off. In the past, this has been a power supply issue, so I have since replaced it. Thinking that maybe my original issue was the p/s and not the memory, I reinstalled the 'bad' memory and ran memtest on it, and it checked out.
