Random Set of BSOD and System Freezing Issues

Just finished a fresh windows 7 pro x64 install, updated all my drivers and the standard install stuff.
However i seem to be getting both system freezes (ie pc just freezes won't accept any input nor and has to be force powered off) and a variety of different BSOD errors seemingly at random.
What I've done so far:
1. Installed all windows updates and drivers.
2. updated bios.
3. Memory Test with memtest86+ (came up fine)
4. SMART Test of all hdd's
5. Heat Monitoring of Cpu and gpu (both within norms)
6. Checking of all cables to make sure they are properly connected

Starting to suspect its a motherboard problem but would like to be a 100% sure before i drop cash on it.
Anyone got any other possibilities?

Probably the last of what you have done kept us away from posting in this thread.

Are you overclocking?
As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.

Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Let us know the results.

Fixed the issue seems it was a USB device plugged in that wasn't even being used, but didn't have its drivers installed.Unplugged it haven't had an issue in the past day.
