Test your Western Digital Scorpio Blue SATA II 250GB with Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows.

Make it sure that all the screws are properly screwed to the HDD. Make it sure that the HDD and the SATA cable ... neither of them dont have a bent pin. Re-seat the SATA and power. If possible, change them. Also try to apply the SATA cable to another unused SATA port on the motherboard.
