So if that is the case then the new board will have the GPU already installed as in the pic I posted last post. The engineer still would not be able to swap out the old GPU from the first board to the second new one though as they come pre fitted at the factory and are not meant to be replaced.

I am sorry my error but it sounded like the GPU had been put into a desktop board.
Ha... So now I have a new board for my laptop and a new graphic chip on it. And the future mark stress testing result after 15 minutes shows the graphic chip temperature is around 70 degrees (Before replace the board, using future mark stress testing will cause the machine to power off itself after about 5 minutes).

But I am still bothered with the BSOD problem likely caused by the graphic driver or directX .
Please help to identify the root cause of the problem.

Ok silverhoof I saw some mention re DX mention in some Googles see this justgo in and check mate and the screen will show you what version you have andwhat card you have etc etc
Which version of DirectX is on your computer? - Microsoft Windows Help

I am no expert this is just a suggestion because it seems even a new boardhas not cured the problem and the temp seems reasonable to me. Maybe it is asArc says (I think) the driver for the GPU which the dxdiag should tell us because I cannot find it on the Intel site very shoddy chipset info

Now the directX version is DirectX 11.
I have tried different versions of drivers, but all give me BSOD.

Next I think on the suspect list is the hard drive. Now I cannot find a WD test for WDC WD7500BPVT-24HXZT1
Now one thing you can try is the surface test using this Partition Wizard : Use the Bootable CD instead of using the partitioning part of this tutorial (no disrespect for the authour) try the surface test see pic.

If you get stuck post back.

Just out of curiosity can you run in safe mode at all? if so try these - power on and tap F8 to get into safe mode then run these

I have tried to use disk check and sfc /scannow.
No error found.
But I am still getting dxgmms1.sys BSOD.
I will try partition magic surface scan later and post the result here.
