Before I swapped my hardware as you've suggested I got this most recent blue screen. But now I've swapped my GPU from the Asus R9 280x to my old MSI GTX 460 Hawk. I've also swapped out my RAM to a new set of two sticks I found on sale. G.Skill F3-17000CL11D-8GBSR. As soon as I booted my mobo detected the RAM changes and I set it to XMP profile 1(running at 10-10-10-30 2133mhz 1.6v). It booted fine with no errors or hangs(unlike my corsair RAM which wouldn't boot into anything besides 1333mhz and would not work with XMP). As I've recently done this I can't tell if this has solved any problems(changing RAM and GPU) so I'm going to leave on the applications and games that were on during all previous other blue screens. Hopefully in the morning it will still be running.
