BSOD's while generally running PC, several different error codes.

Hi all,

Hope you can help, I have bought my PC in January & it ran fine for a few months. I then started to get the odd BSOD until July when it started to BSOD everyday. I thought it was a RAM issue so removed one of the chips & it has worked fine up till the last week when it started to BSOD again.

The problem occurs either while I am making music in Reaper or watching a youtube video.

I am getting a few different error codes:
0x3B (0xC0000005, 0xFFFFF80002CD2B47, 0xFFFFF880040B1E00, 0x0)
0x1A (0x5003, 0xFFFFF70001080000, 0x24ED, 0x3AF3000049DE)
0x1A (0x41790, 0xFFFFFA80001B48C0, 0xFFFF, 0x0)
0x50 (0xFFFFF6800087E658, 0x0, 0xFFFFF80002CE81A2, 0x2)

It tells me its either a memory management issue, page fault or NTFS file system. I have attached the diagnostic file. I hope someone can help as its driving me crazy!

PC is : Intel core i3-2120 cpu@3.30ghz
installed ram 4.00 GB (Was 8 GB until I removed a stick)
64-bit operating system Windows 7

Thanks guys

Hello mecdnb, welcome to SF .

The bug checks appear to be caused due to an out dated system and drivers, your GPU in particular.

Please start by updating to Service Pack 1:

Ah right, i'm wondering whether it could be something to do with my soundcard then as blue screen happens when audio is playing... do you think this may be the cause?

Thank you very much for the quick response

It may very well be, but the dumps from November (I didn't look at the earlier ones as the "latest" one from those is from June) depict a different picture as posted in previous post.
What my previous post also depicts is that your sound solution driver is very old.
I wanted to take it in steps and avoid jumping to conclusions with some amount of evidence, but if you feel that
the sound card is the issue you can remove it and test the system in that configuration for couple of says .

I'm sort of coming to that conclusion as the BSOD has occurred most when I have been making music on a loop in Reaper. When I loop the same part over & over for a long time it BSOD's (well I think this is what causing it).

Strange thing was... I removed a RAM stick in July & did not suffer anymore BSOD's until last week. Could the other BSOD's be RAM related?

I have updated to SP1, Graphics & updated the audio drivers to the newest I could find. I will test for a few days & post back if anymore problems.
Once again thanks for the amazingly rapid response. Much appreciated.

Hello again .
The machine was solid for over a month, can you think of something that might have changed in that period?

No I honestly can't think of anything. looking at the dates there's almost some sort of pattern forming? Crashes repeatedly for a few days then is fine again for a few months. I'm completely stumped & really hope someone can help me!

Hi .
Were you by any chance making music again while the last BSOD happend?
The dump show Flash Player Plus as the active processat the time but I think the problem may
be in your USB audio card, as we have discussed in earlier posts, desipte it being updated since.
