Clean install of win 7 get BSOD and bad_system_config_info

Hello Im trying to install windows 7 home premium 64bit on a tower I had given to me I have it booting from DVD and all goes well for a bit then I get the Bsod bad_system_config_info stop: 0x00000074 (0x000000000000002,0xfffff88002d91b20,0x0000000000000002,0xffffffffc000009a)

Here's what I know:
It had windows server as the OS
The HD has been wiped clean
It worked fine before the HD wipe
The system is 64bit
Memory seems to be working fine
Can boot off a diff HD from another computer that runs vista in 32bit and everything runs

So what on earth am I missing??

which you prob cant if you never installed the OS

Heres the 0x74 error from a bsod index BSOD Index which points at registry problem/corruption which is strange as the OS isnt installed yet
check the ram for errors, heres a little how to RAM - Test with Memtest86+
another thing to try would be to format the HDD properly before attempting install

As you only have (2gb four sticks @ 512mb in your specs), try installing Windows 7 x32.

the fourth parameter c000009a is an nt status code, that means "insufficient resources" thus you had to install more ram or buy an hard disk with more capacity
