Random Freeze, PC crash when waking up / Switching on.

Good Evening,I really need some help now. I have an Acer Aspire 6920G with Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. I haave been having random freezing, restarts and crashes. Laptop will not start first time when powering up and will freeze/crash. Usually it will start OK after that and then maybe sometime when using it will crash and I have to restart.

Not sure what else I can tell you, please let me know if there is anything else.

I have attached zipped file for SF Diagnostics, I hope this helps and someone can help me?

    Simon.

well to be honest; a number of things can cause freezes and crashes. one thing is; for the crashes coming out of sleep mode; you probably should check the acer site for a possible bios update which may correct that issue. It is also possible that malfunctioning ram is a possible cause. To check the ram; shut the system down; take all of the ram sticks out then put them back in one at a time and see if the system responds accordingly. If you get a freeze/crash with a certain number of sticks of ram in; then the problem is probably that ram slot on the board and or the ram stick itself that has gone bad. Try both of these things and see if either works. If there is no bios update for the system then just proceed with checking the ram and we can go from there.
