After changing to the settings for Furmark see the image below. It's blue now.
I've also changed the bios settings to enable the cpu warning temps.
Much better, don't you think? Also, please keep watch on temps for a while to see how high they get while doing your normal things.Also, please keep us advised of your progress.
Looks like the temp leveled off at 81C and stayed there, that seems fine seeing as it's Furmark which pushes things hard.

Today I loaded up HW Monitor and IE for hotmail, and batman. Started going over my essays for USC and then my computer just shut down. No blue screen or any warnings. CPU temps I last saw before the shutdown was 23C. Hints to start troubleshooting?
Go to C:/Windows/minidump and see if there are any recent files there (the numbers are dates and time) If there please run tha SF diagnosyic took again (Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions) also run sfc /scannow (SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker) Have you done any work inside the computer? It's very easy to dislodge a wire. Check the wiring closely. Make sure all connections are fully seated. Also look for any bare or frayed wires.Your symptoms sound like it could be a dead short somewhere. Has this ever happened when using the front panel connections?
In your system specs you list the 770 and the 6850, (yes, I remember you changed during this thread this time) are both in the machine, and did you clean the AMD driver completely before installing the 770? I know I keep telling you to watch things, but it is really necessary. Keep a clode watch on the PSU voltages too.
When this happens, id there any particular activity you are usually doing or a program you are running whe it occurs?
From your description, it sounds like someone just pulled the power plug on the PSU. Is that a correct ubderstanding?

The only work I've done inside the computer was switching the video card out. I really doubt I pulled any cable loose as I have everything zip tied down snugly.
I'm not sure of any patterns as the shutdown only happened once. I do notice, sometimes and randomly, whenever I boot my computer up from a cold boot after coming home it would turn on and the H80i would spin up and do the test then shut down and restart back up fine.
For uninstall the drivers for the 6850, I ran the uninstaller from Add/Remove Programs and I don't see anymore AMD software.
The behavior is just like when the power cord gets pulled, but the computer boots right back up.
oddmut, to be honest, I'm at a loss unless it gets to be a continuing problem. There really isn't anything to go on. But, If I had to make a WAG, it would be your power supply just dropped voltage for a second causing the computer to shut down. Either that or there are wires in your computer that shorted out and caused the power to drop. I've known of that happening in some of the HAF cases from the front panel connectors. I own 3 HAF cases but have never had the problem. If it continues, maybe we will develope something to go on.
