BSOD playing any game, logs blame nvidia

The past few days I haven't been able to do anything that uses my nvidia card. Every game I play will run for maybe 5 min and then crash. Bluescreenview highlights dxgkrnl.sys, dxgmms1.sys, and nvlddmkm.sys as causing the issue. Anyone know what i can do? I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling many different versions of the driver. I have a gtx 675m 4gb card and an intel i7 chip. I just tried to "upgrade windows 7" using my install disk, and now I get the same bsod, but my windows install is no longer genuine and i dont get any file dumps after bsod. The forums wont allow me to attach my crash log files because they are unsported file type.

Install the NVIDIA DRIVERS 314.22WHQL only.

    • Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
      • 3D Vision Control Driver
      • 3D Vision Driver
      • Graphics Driver
      • HD Audio Driver
      • PhysX
      • nvidia Update

(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
    • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
    • Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark
Make it sure that the nvidia GPU is being tested, not the onboard Intel graphics.

I followed all of your instructions. Furmark crashed my computer with the same BSOD error code. Here is the speccy report after playing a few LoL games using the integrated intel gpu. http://speccy.piriform.com/results/L...mRjzBUKYZG58vX

See, temps of the GPU are not high.

    Attachment 299370

When the GPU is crashing with stress test despite of that temperatures, it is the GPU itself that is failing.

Time to abandon it and get another one.
