BSOD while playing WoW and/or any videos from flash player

I've been having reoccurring BSODs for the past few weeks here. Normally it will happen while i play World of Warcraft in a player vs player match. During other video games or while watching/playing something on flash player will cause crashes but rarely a full blown BSOD, normally the program will just crash.

I have a XFX 9300 GeForce motherboard and i'm just running the onboard graphics currently. I've cleaned and installed all video drivers possible for windows 7 64 bit, and I replaced the ram for my computer two weeks ago.

Some times the BSOD is for a STOP 132, Other times it will be for a STOP 0x0a, and a few times ive seen it BSOD for a pointer reference error.

I've updated windows 7 and installed all security packs, run multiple virus scans, including rootkit scans, maleware, ect...

I've checked my bios, my CPU is not overheating. I've gone through the windows repair scan twice, checking windows for any problems. Just installed the SF diagnostic tool, I'm hoping you all can help me pinpoint this to a driver problem or a hardware problem, I'm at my wits end.

Most of the time the BSOD is for a BCC code 124, Should have mentioned that earlier

Intel Diagnostics on my processor found no errors. Recieved two more BSODs while attempting to update windows, one for BCC 0x000000cc, the other for BCC 0x000000d1. I have removed daemon tools and all video drivers at this time. re-installing the one essential nvidia driver in a clean version and am hoping for the best. Will attempt to play WoW and if the BSOD happens again I'll post that dmp file too... If anyone has some feedback on this it would be really appreciated.

After doing some research, this problem could span bad memory(Checked with diagnostics), bad hd(checked with ChkDsk), bad power supply/low voltage to CPU and RAM, or driver failure somewhere... I've been running the driver verifier but no BSOD that have pinpointed any files besides hal.dll and ntoskrnl.dll

Happened again, maybe 20 minutes into World of Warcraft... This time it threw a BSOD with a BCC code 124, I'm uploading the most recent dmp with this post.

Advice is excellent on here, I applauded the community for helping...

After downloading prime95 to stress test my system, i rechecked my bios and used a few dubious bits of software to keep tabs on the temperature and found my CPU to jump to 100 degrees Celsius when under heavy load. Only took about two minutes, immediately stopped prime95 and checked my heat sink.

Ended up replacing the thermal paste and the PSU, seems to have fixed the problem for now, may try switching back to old PSU to see if it was just the bloody heat sink being loosely connected. Haven't touched the heat sink in over 5 years...

Prime95 is still having an issue running. Can only have 2 workers and worker #2 immediately fails upon starting the stress test. Is my core possibly damaged from the overheating and can it still potentially cause problems, or does the stress test failure point to something else? The internet is running out of options.

Good job so far! Can you give a little more information about the temperatures in which the CPU
is operating under now that the heatsink has been reseated with newly applied thermal compound?

Usually a NOTIMEOUT_ERR is a thermal issue, which is what you found out as well.

One of the dumps, not being a 0x124 but rather a 0xA (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL)
we get a hint about the components that are usually the first to 'twitch out' with age
which are the USB ports.

The fact that you are using the integrated graphics along with the infamous nVidia chipset
only makes me think that you might be better off in treating yourself to a new PC
if things won't start looking better for your PC pretty soon.

On what test of Prime95 did the workers failed?
other potential failure points are the 360 controller and the odd RAM module
(that you probably added later down the line?).

Yes the second worker module did fail initially but with further testing of prime95 once the thermal paste set both workers continued without fail for over 3 hours.

The CPU processor is now holding steady at a solid temp of 39 C and when under heavy load it doesn't seem to climb higher than 61 or 62 C. I went for a solid 6 hours straight on WoW with no issues at all.

I know I need to get a graphics card fairly soon, I built this computer years ago on a very slim budget. Right now the iGPU is fluctuating from 55 C not under load and when playing a game or watching a video it is sitting around 80 - 88 C which as far as i understand is terrible, i've cleaned that heat sink as best I can but since there is no fan or remove to attach a fan I'll just get a decent Radeon card when I can. Unfortunately the motherboard bios is as up to date as possible

I agree with you its about time to upgrade the system but for now I've brought it back from the dead :)

Don't know what you mean by the odd ram module however. I just bought two new 2G sticks to replace my old ones. Could one of the 240 pin connectors be going with age?
