    BSOD error 0x00000F4 or c00021a

    Hello everyone,
Recently I bought a new graphic card (Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX) and since I tryed to place it in, I've been getting crashes. First there is a " 0x00000F4 " and after that it's c00021a. I replaced my graphic card with my old one (Nvidia GeForce 460 GTX) and it's the same thing. Here are some more informations about my PC :

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @2.50GHz
    RAM 4 GB
    Motherboard P5QLD PRO
Graphic Card Nvidia GeForce 460 GTX

Is there anything more that I can write in here, so you could help me?
    Thank you for your time!
    PS. Sorry for my english.

Hey StefiH, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Please read the instructions here: Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions, and post back with the needed information. One of our BSOD experts should be by later when able to further help. :)

    Hi StefiH.

Install Service pack 1 and all other windows updates. Otherwise the system will remain vulnerable to threats.
    Code:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
    Version 6.1.7600 Build 7600
Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Service Pack and Update Center - Microsoft Windows

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall the program at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

    • Double click to open it.
    • Click this button only:
    • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Check your disc using Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows

    Let us know the results.

    Thank you for your reply!
I have a problem updating Windows! It says that I have 119 Updates (that are must download-install) and when I downloaded->installed them it said that 118 failed to install.

Now, I am downloading 1 more time, I really don't know what to do.

If I succed, I will try to do everything you said ; First of all I will download SP1 and run your programs, and then I hope that everything will be okay..

If you know why can't I update it, please tell me!

    Thanks again!

    Hello,

Thank you very much for helping, it seems that my Motherboard is broken (SATA part can't read my HDD, and I tryed with 3 different HDDs).

I made another Thopic in Hardware part about what Motherboard should I buy (cause I don't know very much about that).

If you can recommend me anything you are free to tell me, and again, thank you !

Seen that thread. Hope very soon you will get the opinions from the hardware experts who will suggest you a better alternative to your board.

I think you may get the same board, if it is available.
