    BSOD playing FIFA14, 0xa0000001 (atikmdag.sys+277ce & ntoskrnl.exe)

    Hi,

Firstly hello to all and thank you for taking the time to try and help me with my issue.

I have been getting numerous amounts of BSOD for the past 2 months now when I have been playing FIFA 14. I will only ever get a BSOD when I play FIFA14 and will not get it with any other game or instance.

I have run the diagnostic tool and have attached it to this thread in the hope that someone can help me as this issue is driving me insane.

If you need anymore information from me then please ask.

    Thanks,
    George

    Thanks for the suggestion Golden.

I have used DriverSweeper to clean all old GPU drivers and have installed the latest 13.12 drivers suggested below but I still get the BSOD pretty much everytime I play FIFA14.

OK. As soon as you get a new BSOD, upload just that new dmp file please.

Another day another BSOD whilst playing FIFA14. Latest .dmp file attached.

BSOD says it errored on "atikmdag.sys+277ce" but I have the latest drivers installed (13.12) and have done a driver sweeper numerous amounts of time :S

It also mentions something about "ntoskrnl.exe+75bc0" too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have seen on the web that Catalyst Control Center could be the cause of the issue, so have un-installed that and will see if I get another BSOD...

Ok, so just got another BSOD. Un-installing Catalyst Control Center, did not fix the issue.

Attached is my latest .dmp file.

Still seems to be an issue with the display driver.....its the same date as the 1st dmp I looked at. I'll see if soemone else has other ideas on this.

Stop 0xa0000001 is a bugcheck inherent with AMD/ATI display driver/GPUs.

Roll it back to an earlier version that worked good for you. Let us know the results.
