Windows 7: BSOD, mouse freezes &reboots possibly after new MS wireless KB & mouse

Hello. Just an update.

Today I suffered multiple freezes on the mouse driving me to act

I reasoned (somehow) the only new addition was the MS wireless KB & mouse I got for Christmas.
I removed drivers and unplugged. Reconnected the good old wired (MS) KB & mouse....

Grrr.... Freeze again but this time the mouse pointer changed seconds before?

Now, somewhere in the deep recesses of my mind the CMOS/ MB battery kept ringing the bell.
I went out and bought a new one.

Unplugged all connections, opened case and replaced the battery. Now while I was in there I had a good look about. There was a little dust but nothing else unusual.

As an additional (perhaps chance of a fix) I unplugged my 4 x 2 Gb sticks of RAM before the above battery replacement, and reset the CMOS by shorting contacts that hold the battery in place and as per the manual (yes I still have it) MB = Gigabyte GA-P35C (about a 2008 vintage).

I am running without the USB camera and my Logitech headset (USB connection) and so far so good Been 60 minutes + so far...

It is an old camera and I wouldn't think it is the source of my woes but? Will advise further......

Edit: Hours later and running like a clock

Another BSOD yesterday so I will remove the last hardware addition of a 2Tb Samsung HDD and an old (?) 64Gb SSD (this was made redundant by a new 256Gb SSD at the same time, I think July last year).

Thinking this might help and it is a heavy tower.

Will advise ...

OK just had another freeze & reboot while googling the problem (still)...

I had removed the SSD & HDD proving not them and had already unplugged the USB camera & headset so not them either.

Any suggestions appreciated.

EDIT: additional info. Opened case again and I am happy to do this as I have built systemes before and installed OS's and HDD/SDDs often.

Removed and refixed video card and power/sata cables to all and refitted the removed HHD/SSD above. I carefully dusted the obvious spots but like I said, I have seen worse dusty PC inwards...

( I would like to know how to read the attached too ) and any suggestions still humbly welcome.
I note I built PC in Dec/07/Jan 08.

EDIT 2: PC has been running now for 3+ hours and no freeze. I have been intermittently moving mouse. opening & closing windows/applications and screens trying to fault.... Fingers crossed.....

EDIT 3: PC has been running now for 8+ hours and no freeze. I have been backing up all to external HDD. Intermittently moving mouse etc and no freezing.... Fingers still crossed and will advise...

EDIT 4 & final advice: PC was running for 16+ hours (followed on from last post) and all is still OK.
I was still intermittently moving mouse and trying to make it freeze even at 2am (still final of backing up was happening, but all is good.

Marking as solved and thanks to Golden for the assist.

If you asked me what the fix was I couldn't tell you because I really can't put it down to anything.
