I also just found this bit of information. I just uninstalled the ASUS software which I did have running and will report back. I left the setting in Bitdefender (post above) where it was but might try that next if I get another BSOD.

Those of us who overclock have also had various issues with the AI suite, in particular, the newest version, 3, I think it is.

Thanks
Think of ICMP as ping. There are other functions, but ping is the best known.

IPv6 and MUST be fully implemented by every IPv6 node.
Allowing ICMP might open a small window for threats to test your system for other vulnerabilities. If they can ping your system, they think there might be other ways in... That being said, I used to have a more "open" system and never had an attack.

Try the following GRC tests:
Shields UP! and
Leak Test
to see what information is (or is not) exposed to the Internet by your browser

For IPv6 information, see the following:

IPv6 test - IPv6/4 connectivity and speed test
Test your IPv6.

Well the removal of the ASUS software and the SAS software does not appear to have helped. I am trying one more thing before I change my IPv6 setting and then the next step would be to remove Bitdefender. I will keep you posted.

Still no luck, the BSOD keeps happening. I thought I would post another file if someone could check it for me.

Thanks

Both dumps point to BitDefender...

Code:
Unable to load image \??\C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Firewall\bdfwfpf.sys, Win32 error 0n2

I think for the time being, following Golden's advice here, would be your next step.

I just removed Bitdefender. Hopefully my BSOD issue is solved, but I will post an update after a reasonable amount of time has passed. Thanks to all who helped.

Well, not one BSOD since I removed Bitdefender. Too bad, since I really liked the program and have been using it with no issues for several years.

Thanks again to all who helped me and I will mark this thread solved.

Feeling discouraged.
So today, I have had a very bad experience with one of my posts helping someone in the Crashes and Debugging forums. I was told that I did not clearly read the person's post and that my response was therefore impersonal and useless. I missed one line in his initial post that was pretty small and...

Feeling Nostalgic...
I don't know if this is even possible on Windows 7, but I'm feeling a little nostalgic, and would like to run MSDOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 in a virtual machine. I have disk images (and can create the floppies if needed), but I'm wondering how to get Virtual PC to use a floppy drive (or even just...
