Random Freezes, happens VERY frequently, error 0xa0000001

Alright, let me start by describing what has been happening, and it's very strange, I have never encountered this kind of issue before until recently.

Mind you, this happens when I do just about ANYTHING, ANYTHING...so for example (here lately) I will open up Chrome or Internet Explorer and I'll start browsing the web, forums, youtube, etc...and randomly the best way I can put this is...Everything will stop responding, you wont be-able to navigate through links, cannot open new tabs, cannot close tabs, if I am on youtube the video and sound stops. If I minimize the internet browser everything else I have open such as notepad, skype, paint, a game they will stop responding as well. Task Manager isn't able to be accessed, start menu isn't able to be accessed, opening anything on the desktop such as folders or even the recycle bin will open but they then freeze (And windows pops up a message asking if you'd like to "End the Process" and that also freezes) The whole system become unusable for a few minutes and then everything is back to normal again.

Then today I realized something else along with this, maybe it can help pinpoint what is wrong. I was attempting to burn a DVD eariler today, and this random "freeze" happened during it, during the burning process, of course it stopped responding and then the DVD drive gave me a horrible error - 0xC0AA0301
So what ever this random freezing is, it causes the whole system to literally stop responding, and it's strange.

The blue screen occurred today, when I started a game, windows immediately blue-screened on me.

Opps sorry, I'll go ahead and do that, didn't think there would be a difference, because really these issues were on BOTH Windows 7 and Windows 8, literally the same...
